Duties
- Hire, supervise, and manage staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with organizational standards and ODJFS child care compliance.
- Oversee program development and implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Collaborate with the administrator for daily functions and long-term goals, including budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, community partners, church leadership, and state regulatory agencies.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
- Cover staffing when necessary.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- strong background in program management with a track record of successful implementation
- proven experience in supervising teams with excellent relationship management skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse populations.
- knowledge of budgeting processes and administrative best practices.
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- educational requirements for OCCRRA or greater
- Experience working as a director is required.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Prior experience with a faith-based center.
