Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a pediatric neuropsychologist to provide evaluation and consultation services to our inpatient and outpatient population at our facility located in Baltimore, MD. Primary responsibilities will involve the provision of neuropsychology evaluations to children and adolescents with specific medical needs, and fluency with relevant measures of assessment that are appropriate for this population. In addition to working with children with various medical diagnoses, the interested neuropsychologist should have familiarity with diagnosing disorders of executive functioning, general cognition and autism spectrum disorders. Applicants with experience in working with children with traumatic brain injury and concussion will be considered strongly. The applicant in this position will also have the opportunity to work with our inpatient child and adolescent rehabilitation population, making recommendations for treatment on children with various disorders of the central nervous system. An individual in this position will also have the opportunity to supervise neuropsychology trainees at the externship, internship and postdoctoral level. The Division of Psychology and Neuropsychology at MWPH has over 60 employees, and so the applicant will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing and vibrant team of professionals.
Requirements
Applicants for this position must hold doctoral degrees in psychology, and have completed a two year fellowship in neuropsychology. Board certification in neuropsychology is a plus, but not required for application. Applicants must be psychology license eligible in the state of Maryland, and hold a valid license in order to work in the position.
