What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatrician position at Mt?
Provide Clinical Services as follows:
- Work 4 clinic days per week (Complex Care) with approximately 8 complex care patients per clinic day. Schedule will be coordinated with other physician coverage in the clinic.
- Hospital on call coverage 2 times per month (24 shifts per year)
Primary Care Clinic services to include:
- Provide general Medical care
- Monitor growth and development
- Administer and track immunizations
- Diagnose and treat acute and subacute illnesses, chronic and acute medical conditions and order appropriate diagnostic tests
- Advise and order appropriate nutritional needs.
- Communicate with patients' specialty providers on an ongoing basis
- Monitor ongoing therapy services
- Provide resources for home-based services and maintain proper orders for nutrition and medication for patients
- Other services as clinically appropriate
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited medical school.
Licensed to practice in Maryland.
Board certified/eligible in pediatrics.
PALS certification preferred
