mta automation provides industrial soldering and dispensing machines for manufacturing. We have two primary revenue streams, complete machines and consumables required to keep those machines operational.
Job Description
This is a part-time role for a Customer Service Specialist at mta automation, located on-site (not remote) in Mooresville, NC. The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support. Specific tasks include:
- Provide quotations to customers
- Forward technical questions to our technical team
- Process customer purchase orders
- Purchase/replenish standard parts
- Receive incoming shipments into the system
- Package and ship small orders (0-5 small boxes/day)
- Invoice customers
- Sending monthly statements
Skills:
This is primarily a clerical job and requires attention to detail and high organization skills. Candidates should have a fundamental understanding of Outlook, Excel, and Word. Prior experience in order entry, purchasing, and/or accounting are preferred but not required. Specific experience with Microsoft Business Central and fluent Spanish are advantages.
Qualifications
- High school graduation or higher
- 1 years of business-to-business (B2B) customer service experience
- Proficiency in phone etiquette
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of industrial equipment is beneficial
