The Job :
As a Weld Supervisor, youll be part of our Tools & Outdoor Global Supply Chain team working as a onsite employee based in Verona, MS. Youll get to :
- Maintain operation schedules, supervise daily activities for 20 employees, and manage overall production of the weld department.
- Maintain welding equipment and robotics set up
- Coordinate resources and set daily priorities to meet business objectives.
- Use judgement to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day to day technical and operational opportunities.
- Explains information, conveys performance expectations, and handles sensitive issues.
- Coach, counsel, and provide progressive disciplinary action, as needed.
- Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork / check sheets.
- Work closely with support groups personnel to resolve issues that arise to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Lead in the creation of forms, rapid improvement events and continuous improvement activities.
