MTD is searching for candidates for our new Customer Service & Event Supervisor. The Customer Service & Event Supervisor performs a variety of routine and complex clerical and administrative work to oversee the Customer Service Center at MTD’s Illinois Terminal as well as manage the banquet and meeting center, CityView. This includes answering incoming calls, maintaining records, office procedures, giving tours, maintaining relationships with clients and vendors, and administrative support.
This is a salaried staff position with an excellent benefit package, including 100% employer-sponsored family health/dental/vision insurance premiums, an IMRF pension, a deferred compensation match plan, and a generous paid time off policy. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 9AM - 6PM.
Starting Salary: $53,000 - $60,000/based on experience

Education Requirements
An associate degree or equivalent work experience in an office or customer service-related setting is required.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible work experience, preferably in customer service, administrative support, or a related work setting is required.
- Prior experience in supervising and/or training employees is preferred.
- Must hold a valid State of Illinois Driver’s License.
