Wage Range: $20-$24 hr. annual bonus incentive Date: 2025
Job Summary

The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the effective management and administration of a variety of compliance-related functions within the organization.
Certified Payroll Duties:
- Uploading and recording weekly certified payroll reports (CPR)
- Confirming accuracy of CPR uploaded reports
- Working with project staff to confirm all on-site subcontractor work
- Adding subcontractors to projects and following up to ensure weekly report submission
- Collecting and uploading all required documentation pertaining to prevailing wage projects (apprenticeship certifications, employee consents for wage deductions, fringe benefit statements, etc.)
- Updating fringe benefit worksheets for wage and fringe changes and/or new setup
- Creating craft class templates based on wage determinations
Subcontractor, Insurance & Vendor Compliance Duties:
- Administration of Master Subcontract Agreements (MSA) Process
- Issuing MSA agreements and tracking subcontractor and vendor compliance
- Obtaining and reviewing certificates of insurance for subcontractors and vendors
- Administrative support for MTech’s insurance and safety compliance commitments
- Support Risk Manager/Counsel as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Accounts Payable Duties:
- Scan, enter, and distribute invoices using electronic purchase orders.
- Receive, research and reconcile invoices for discrepancies. Distribute for approval, enter information into Viewpoint system, and file.
- Must be able to complete larger amounts of data entry daily into various systems
- Assist in reviewing account accuracy and transfer funds to appropriate locations
- Enter inventory material sheets as well as inventory purchase orders. This includes entry of physical count/reconciliation at year end.
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected in order to meet the requirements of this position
- Other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates will possess the following education and experience:
- Possession of strong organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
- Team player with the ability to remain flexible with day-to-day tasks
- Follow up on projects/tasks to ensure action items are timely completed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Preferred 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
