Job Summary
Address the client’s drain/plumbing concerns by thoroughly inspecting the drain system, providing suggestions and feedback to the client, and expertly clear, clean and/or repair all identified issues. Completes all necessary paperwork as needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Use sewer cameras and sewer locators to determine options
- Clean and clear drains using cable machines, hydro jetters and augers
- Minor plumbing service and repair
- Work within the guidelines of the safety and employee policy
- Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local and national codes and industry standards
- Conduct yourself in a manner that will best represent the company to others
- Start work on time with the required hand tools and personal protective equipment to perform the job safely and productively
- Complete all required documentation on service and may collect, record and deliver fees to office
- Participate in meetings and training as necessary
- Support the total quality effort. Identify and respond to the needs of internal and external clients 100% of the time
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected to meet the requirements of this position
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Must be approved to drive per MTech’s driving standards
- Must be able to work flexible hours within the on-call schedule
- Basic knowledge of all aspects of plumbing systems (willing to train)
- Working knowledge of all relevant national and local codes and company and industry standards (willing to train)
- Must possess and maintain licenses that are required in the jurisdictions that you are working
- Required to enroll in MTech’s accredited apprenticeship program
