Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze large datasets to extract valuable insights and deliver actionable recommendations to drive business decisions.
- Innovative Data Approaches: Develop and implement new approaches to handle, analyze, and utilize large volumes of data effectively.
- Complex Problem-Solving: Address and resolve fundamental challenges related to data handling, search, retention, and storage.
- Software Development: Design and develop innovative software solutions and coding practices to enhance data search processes and efficiency.
- Data Quality Assurance: Test, validate, and ensure the quality of data and data-related processes.
- Results Reporting: Create detailed analyses and present results through reports and visualizations that inform stakeholders and support strategic initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience with big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Databricks).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Knowledge of data science models and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib).
- Solid understanding of data handling, storage, and retention best practices.
