Title: Wireless System Test Engineer
Duration: 12 months Contract

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-year experience with system engineering, testing, and design.
- Some knowledge of 3GPP and 3GPP2 standards and protocols HTTP2/JSON, SBI and Diameter.
- General knowledge of IMS architecture and 5G and 4G LTE call flows.
- Preferred working experience with PCF/PCRF, OCS/CHF, HSS/UDR, and SMF/PGW network functions/elements.
- Working experience with 5G and 4G LTE network entities and interworking flows.
- Strong knowledge of tracing and troubleshooting tools (e.g. Wireshark). Intimate knowledge of interpreting pcap/ISA traces using IRIS and/or nGenius.
- Familiarity with Kibana and Grafana interfaces and analysis methods.
- Familiar with Sprint landslide for script/configuration.
Responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for the development of test cases corresponding to new network services deployed on both 4G & 5G Cores.
- Review service engineering requirements needed to deploy new products and services and design the corresponding test cases for automation.
- Participate in reviews with stakeholders to understand all service requirements, environmental dependencies, and supported call flows to design new test cases.
- Understand wireless core network technologies so that the proposed test cases can be integrated into existing test automation framework.
- Consider impact to all wireless core network functions as new services and products are deployed.
- Identify feature, call flow, and environmental dependencies to ensure the Test Automation scripting team will be able to implement the necessary test cases.
- Review proposed test cases with the Services team before submitting them for automation.
- Support E2E daily troubleshooting when own test case failures occur.
- Submit JIRA tickets to track test case modifications. Provide feedback to the JIRA team to optimize the test case development process.
