What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Director position at MTN Tax Search?
Our client is a small CPA firm based in Newark, and they are looking for a Tax Director. Hybrid work model.
Job Duties:
- Review tax returns and provide tax advice for Individuals, Partnerships, S-corporations, and C-corporations.
- Supervise and review staff’s preparation of tax returns.
- Review financial records such as prior tax return forms, income statements, and documentation of expenditures to determine forms necessary to prepare each return. Contacts and/or follows up with clients to send in documentation needed to substantiate the returns.
- Meet with clients via video or phone.
- Strong willingness and eagerness to learn new technical subject areas and changing tax laws.
Qualifications:
- BA, Accounting
- 7 years of public accounting experience
- CPA required
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focused.
Salary : $175,000 - $200,000
