To maintain a safe and clean working environment, both on the paint line and in the mix room. The Paint Technician is responsible for setup/maintaining robot & equipment, mix room, and/or paint lines to meet organizational goals.

Anderson Paint - Technician Clean Room 2nd shift $ 20.51
Moriroku Technology North America in Anderson, IN is searching for a Paint Technician to provide leadership and organization to the paint process and department. To maintain a safe and clean working environment, both on the paint line and in the mix room. The Paint Technician is responsible for setup/maintaining robot & equipment, mix room, and/or paint lines to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and adhere to all safety guidelines and policies
- Some light maintenance of paint line
- Monitors production performance to assure department goals are met.
- Preforms other functions as assigned
- Ensure effective process set up according to hard copy programs stored in process books.
- Manages paint schedule changes working with Team Leaders to assure internal and external requirements are met.
- May perform series of tests to analyze parts for proper paint color, adhesion, and thickness; monitor spray patterns and paint processes to ensure quality of painted parts, make adjustments to machines and/or robots, programs to correct issues and perform RTO checks as required
- Maintains proper 5S throughout the department
- Preforms periodic quality checks of parts and equipment
- Completes all required process documentation including but not limited to, process changes, paint mix/mix ratio, robot programing
- Maintains a safe working environment following company policies
- May be required to operate machinery, load/unload, and/or buff parts if needed to maintain production
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Walking/Bending/Squatting
- Long periods of standing
- Repetitive motions
