This role will also translate for Spanish speaking associates, and update company documentation/SOPs as needed.

Moriroku Technology North America Inc. in Anderson, IN is searching for a Bilingual Production Common Team Leader for 1st shift to track and maintain attendance and to assist in meeting daily production requirements. This role will also translate for Spanish speaking associates, and update company documentation/SOPs as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Daily attendance tracking in HRMS database and take call ins of associates
- Communicate with production leads of paid time off planned & associates that will be absent from work
- Initiate documents necessary for attendance corrective action
- General training of new associates (Spanish speaking)
- Orientation, quality, company policies and procedures
- Translation of documentation when needed
- Assist Human Resources Department with associate relations by translating in Spanish
- 5S plant audits
- Gather and evaluate assembly parts-per-hour data to present to production team & management
- Support Assembly department on efficiency improvement projects using data collected
- Act as back-up to assembly team lead when needed
- Work with other departments to enforce a continuous improvement culture
- Any other tasks designated by management
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Associate training experience preferred
- Presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work alone or with a team
- Detail oriented
- 5S & Kaizen knowledge a plus
- Ability to learn & adapt in a fast-paced working environment
