1st Shift: 7:30am-3:30pm
Purpose of Position: The Technician will contribute to the success of the Purchasing department by creating/maintaining relationships with suppliers, having strong communication and coordinating skills, as well as being detailed and organized.

Purpose of Position: The Technician will contribute to the success of the Purchasing department by creating/maintaining relationships with suppliers, having strong communication and coordinating skills, as well as being detailed and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain/develop supplier relationships
- Calculate production requirements for purchased materials for both Greenville and Anderson plants
- Communicate with suppliers regarding material requirements
- Coordinate delivery of purchased materials for both Greenville and Anderson plants
- Monitor and report supplier performance
- Monitor and control inventory levels of purchased materials
- Support Production & Quality departments on purchased material items
- Coordinate build out/new model part transitions for both Greenville and Anderson plants
- Proven negotiation skills
- Efficient
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work over-time (some travel required)
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Computer - Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
