We are seeking a highly motivated senior mechanical engineer to support our carbon capture projects, select plant equipment, design new equipment, and commission field operations. The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to:
We are seeking a highly motivated senior mechanical engineer to support our carbon capture projects, select plant equipment, design new equipment, and commission field operations. The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Generating, reviewing, and commenting on technical documents such as P&ID, process flow diagrams, equipment data sheets, general arrangement drawings, and 3D models.
- Specifying, reviewing, and commenting on process equipment sizing, selection, and arrangement such as gas blowers/turbofans, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, dryers, cooling equipment, and pressure vessels.
- Working with equipment vendors to evaluate and size process equipment, comparing technologies to identify the best equipment for the application, and communicating recommendations and findings to the project team.
- Participating in project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing technical support and guidance to carbon capture projects and engineering studies (internally) and with project EPC firms and the customer (externally).
