Behavioral Health Technician (Operations Technician I)
Location: Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Facility
Tenure: 0-2 years
Reports To: Director of Operations
Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Technician with MTR Treatment Corporation, you will play a vital role in client care and operational support. Your responsibilities include ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment while assisting with daily activities and transportation. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, punctuality, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries while supporting clients through their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Client Transportation & Facility Support
- Safely transport clients to and from clinical programming, activities, and meetings.
- Assist with the transportation of items as directed by the Director of Operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment.
✅ Client Support & Accountability
- Provide structure, reinforcement of rules, and daily accountability for clients.
- Observe and report significant client behaviors related to treatment and well-being.
- Document incidents such as isolation or erratic behaviors and notify appropriate personnel.
✅ Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to all JCAHO and State of Texas regulations regarding client care.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure client and staff well-being.
Competencies & Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic, professional approach.
- Ability to build rapport while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Punctuality and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- CPR and safety training (preferred).
- If a former client, a minimum of two years since last treatment at MTR Treatment Corp.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
