Position Overview
We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join our team on a 6-month W2 contract. The role focuses on data engineering, ingestion, and testing data pipelines while adhering to best practices in scalability, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain data products
- Write production-ready and testable code for data pipelines
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in technical designs
- Troubleshoot failures, propose design changes, and improve operations
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best engineering practices
- Maintain security and compliance standards throughout development
- Provide UAT support and document all work
- Contribute to solution architecture and data analysis on demand
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes, Azure Service Fabric, Delta Lake, Informatica, SSIS
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline frameworks
- Ability to provide technical documentation and production deployment support
