Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Expediter and Food Runner to join our team. As a Expo/Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and efficiently from the kitchen to the customers. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will contribute to the overall dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and plating as needed
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service areas
- Assist with restocking supplies as necessary
- Communicate any customer requests or concerns to the appropriate staff members
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
