WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Exemplify MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
- Practice, support and promote the Vision and Mission Statements and Core Values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals.
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
- Chart existing business processes to define current business activities for the development of procedures and models.
- Prototype new procedures for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
- Identify and establish scope and parameters of process analysis to define impact, outcome criteria, and measure-taking actions.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
- Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain new or improved processes based on findings and analysis.
- Communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to management, peers, staff, and other team members so that issues and solutions are understood.
- Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new processes, and other post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with project team to ensure project requirements are documented, approved, and traced through delivery.
- Create, maintain, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Associates Degree (Preferred in in the field of business administration, computer science, finance, or management information systems). Two (2) additional years of Business Analyst experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
- One (1) year of Information Technology experience with Business Analyst responsibilities.
- Two (2) years of on-the-job experience in a technical field.
- An International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA) certification is a plus!
- Experience with developing documentation for IT/Network Product Lifecycle and Audit/Compliance is a plus!
HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge of network and PC operating systems
- Knowledge of BPA applications for mapping and documenting requirements.
- Skilled in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and waterfall methodology.
- Skilled in analytical and creative problem-solving to elicit and document business rules, develop use cases and scenarios, and define and document interfaces.
- Skilled in interpersonal, written, and oral communication.
- Skilled in logical, efficient, and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to create systematic and manual operations procedures in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and take action on it.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
- Ability to provide premier guest service to both internal and external guests.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Availability – Ability to work 40 hours per week, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
- Physical – Ability to maneuver in all areas of the casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push, or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
- Environment – Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
