GET TO KNOW THE ROLE
The Valet Supervisor oversees valet parking operations, ensuring efficient service, safety, and adherence to company policies. This role manages valet attendants, coordinates parking logistics, and upholds the highest standards of guest service to protect company assets and ensure a positive experience for guests and team members.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Practice, support and promote the vision, mission, and values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
Supervise and lead a team of valet attendants
Coordinate valet parking activities, including the efficient flow of vehicles and proper use of parking spaces.
Monitor and enforce parking policies and procedures.
Ensure that all valet equipment, such as ticketing systems and parking cones, is in good working condition.
Coordinate with maintenance staff for regular equipment inspections and repairs.
Directs vehicle traffic, secures transportation, and assists with luggage.
Safely parks, secures, and promptly retrieves guest vehicles.
Provides information about the hotel, restaurant, and surrounding areas.
Delivers efficient, gracious, and professional service to maximize guest satisfaction.
Maintains professional appearance, responds to guest service issues, and reports to management.
Prioritizes safety while driving responsibly.
Greets visitors, opens doors, and assists all guests.
Operates guest vehicles safely, ensuring security and providing accurate directions.
Maintains a positive attitude in extreme weather conditions.
Recommends alternative transportation for intoxicated guests, following policies.
Promotes a positive and safe work environment, ensuring security of vehicles and belongings.
Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Manages opening and closing of parking area / facility.
Reports accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, and security / safety hazards to supervisor.
Monitor the security of parked vehicles and report any incidents or issues.
Collaborate with security personnel to maintain a safe parking environment.
Performs assigned duties and responsibilities.
Smile and engage guests and team members with a positive professional demeanor.
Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (MVR) required.
1 year supervisor / lead experience required.
3 years’ driving experience with the ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions, parallel park, and park in confined spaces required.
Intermediate computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL
Knowledge of valet operations.
Skilled in effective conflict resolution and de-escalation with guests and team members.
Skilled in current Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to : Word; Excel; Outlook; Time and
Ability to demonstrate advanced written and verbal communication skills. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with speed, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate advanced report writing skills.
Ability to operate all types of passenger vehicles with standard or automatic transmission in a safe manner and adhere to traffic laws and diving regulations.
Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions.
Ability to efficiently drive results in stressful situations.
Ability a sense of urgency and timeliness.
Ability to demonstrate proactive actions and anticipate business needs.
Ability to demonstrate excellent organization and guest service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and the highest degree of ethics in all aspects of job performance.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Availability – Ability to work 40 hours per week, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24 / 7 operation.
Physical – Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, ascent / descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and / or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift / move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance. Successfully pass a physical exam.
Environment – Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
