What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ground Landscaping Worker 2 (MTMO) position at Muckleshoot Indian Tribe?
JOB SUMMARY
Under supervision, performs semi-skilled and skilled work in maintaining a variety of general landscaping areas and performs maintenance for various landscaping equipment.
This is the second level within a three level series and is distinguished from the Grounds Maintenance Worker 3 in that incumbents generally perform semi-skilled to skilled labor as well as operation of equipment duties and typically work independently under the guidance of the Ground Maintenance Worker 3 and as the lead to the Ground Maintenance Worker 1.

EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION
Required:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent and one (1) year related grounds-keeping maintenance and/or repair work experience.
- Must be an enrolled Muckleshoot Tribal member.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION
Skilled in: Operating small hand and power tools; operating power lawn mowers, such as riding or push mowers; performing a variety of routine ground-keeping functions; completing assigned work in a timely and efficient manner; safely operating tools and equipment; safely handling fertilizers and chemicals; maintenance of equipment.
Knowledge of: Basic math; safe work practices; basic cleaning and grounds-keeping techniques; uses, handling, and storage of pesticides and herbicides.
Ability to: Read and write; follow verbal and written instructions; operate and care for tools and equipment; observe safety requirements and safe work practices; perform work involving regular physical activity; establish and maintain cooperative work relationships; arrive to work in a timely manner; attend required training; work varying shifts.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
