JOB SUMMARY
Grounds and Landscaping Manager at the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe’s Organizational Support department oversees Grounds and Landscaping staff. This position manages approximately nine staff members and coordinates additional landscaping contracts and contractors. The role requires ensuring the upkeep and aesthetics of the tribal grounds. The manager develops and implements Grounds and Landscaping schedules and ensures compliance with safety regulations. They will also handle resource allocation and inventory management. This position aims to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the community.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION
Required:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
- Six (6) years of landscaping experience.
- Four (4) years managerial or supervisory experience.
- Previous employment with Muckleshoot Indian Tribe may substitute for experience.
- Must be knowledgeable of Muckleshoot Tribal Government, policies and procedures, budgeting, and hiring.

The manager must be able to respond to emergency Grounds and Landscaping situations promptly and effectively. Occasionally lifts up to 75 lbs.
