Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting food preparation and service, contributing to a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Bus tables and assist with clearing dining areas to ensure a tidy environment for guests.
• Support banquet service by efficiently cleaning and organizing dishware during events.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Basic knowledge of food handling practices is preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing as needed.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
• A passion for culinary arts and helping others in the kitchen is highly valued.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
