Dog Groomer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mobile Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a love for animals and the skills necessary to provide exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for the overall grooming and care of pets, ensuring they look their best while also prioritizing their comfort and well-being.

Duties

• Perform grooming services including Hair cut,bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require further attention or veterinary care.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming options and aftercare.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
• Handle animals safely and effectively, using proper restraint techniques when necessary.
• Assist with pet sitting duties as needed, ensuring pets receive proper care in their owners' absence.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Skills

• Proficiency in animal handling techniques, including dog handling and animal restraint.
• Experience in pet care practices such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.
• Knowledge of animal behavior to effectively manage different temperaments during grooming sessions.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large breeds or multiple pets at once.
• Familiarity with kennel operations and pet training methods is a plus.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
