Role Summary : Join Muddy Robot Games as a Game UI Designer to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance player interaction and overall game experience. Your role will focus on the user's journey through the game, crafting UI elements that are visually pleasing but also functional and user-friendly. You must be located in the United States.

Educational Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or relevant field preferred.

Experience Requirements :

Minimum 3 years of experience in UI design, specifically within the gaming industry.

OR - 4 years of experience in UI design in mobile applications, digital experience within the Retail or other industry.

Strong portfolio demonstrating previous UI work.

Strong creative illustrator and graphic designer.

Additional Skills and Knowledge :

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Adobe Illustrator, Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.

Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in UI.

Ability to transfer UI elements from concept to in-game assets.

Experience with making adjustments to the UI as needed.

Understanding the continuous improvement process and the analytics to drive UI decisions.

Work Environment : We are currently a fully remote studio. We are calling for individuals across the United States who are ready to join our narrative from 9-5 PM based on their local time zone, Monday through Friday. We are unable to bring on international candidates at this time.

Compensation : Muddy Robot Games invites you to contribute your skills and expertise as a contractor. Instead of a traditional salary, you will receive equity shares in the company, signifying your role as a stakeholder. The initial value of your equity is based on a fair market valuation, corresponding to the agreed-upon worth of your input.

Our equity compensation model is structured to proportionately reward your contributions. As the company progresses, it's important to understand that the value of your equity may vary with market conditions and company performance.
