Job Summary
The Lead Foreman will oversee and supervise the daily operations of mudjacking and concrete repair sites, mainly outside a home such as a patio, garage floor, driveway, sidewalk, and stairs. Ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Employee will be responsible for leading and managing a crew of workers no more than 4. Lead foreman will ensure the proper execution of the project according to description of bids while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Lead foreman will also be hands on in the concrete repair sites to make sure the job is completed on time. Candidates that have a Class E license are preferred, but not required. Training will be provided to obtain a Class E license to be able to drive a dump truck.
Lead Foreman will start and end their day from the shop at 19101 Scott Rd, Holt, Missouri.
This position is a full time - seasonal position ranging from March-December.
Responsibilities
- Lead in the preparation and lifting of sunken concrete for various slab concrete.
- Perform concrete forming, including setting up forms and ensuring proper alignment.
- Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required.
- Operate equipment for concrete pumping and other related tasks.
- Drive and maintain a clean dump truck as needed.
- Read and interpret work orders to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of the project.
- Communicate with management
- Attend meetings on phone or in person
Experience
- Previous experience in concrete mudjacking or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with motors, pumps, hydraulics, construction estimating, mechanical knowledge, and installation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Experience with concrete forming processes and equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of landscaping and dirt grading
