Foundry General Laborers

**NEW RATE OF PAY** MUELLER is currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time production positions at our NEW Decatur Foundry Operation. These positions are 2nd or 3rd shift. Pay ranges between $24 - $29/hr. plus shift differential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work safely in a manufacturing environment. Follow detailed verbal/written assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Read and understand work orders and assembly instructions. Prepare and assemble materials and parts. Move, process, and organize materials and manufactured products. Operate hand power tools, presses, drills, and any other required machinery efficiently and safely. Perform quality control checks and verify work order specifications. Properly fill out basic forms, reports, and label products correctly. Be able to communicate and work effectively with others. Report any problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to Supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Candidates must be available to work all shifts including possible mandatory overtime on weekends. Be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Repetitive standing, bending, turning, and twisting for extended periods of time. Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot/cold) Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach at arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Ability to use power tools, air tools, and other vibratory tools. Ability to work around hot heavy machinery. Must be able to pass a basic aptitude test, physical, with drug/alcohol test and background screen.
