Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Day to Day benefits administration support
- Responsible for following leave of absence processes, including FMLA, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability.
- Responsible for auditing files for adherence to benefits related policies and procedures
- Support the annual open enrollment process, including communication, benefits materials preparation, and enrollment assistance.
- Facilitate group and one-on-one training sessions for New Hires and Open Enrollment events. Meet with new employees to review benefits, answer questions, and educate on options, coverage, and eligibility.
- 401k support with reporting and file submissions
- Support with communication and marketing of new benefits offerings and wellness programs.
- Assist in generating HR reports and analytics as necessary.
- Assist in other duties as assigned that support all roles within the HR team
- On-site regular attendance
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a benefits administration support role, including administering FMLA & short-term disability
- Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and electronic benefits platform a plus
- Current knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and life insurance
