What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Shipping position at Mueller Refrigeration?
Mueller Refrigeration has an immediate opening for a Material Handler in our Shipping Department. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. Occasional overtime may be available, but it is infrequent.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Picks orders from storage locations using RF scanner, prepares orders for shipping, including stacking cartons on pallets, preparing and applying necessary labels, banding and shrink wrapping as necessary.
Transfers stock and loads onto trucks, operating forklifts and cherry pickers.
Maintains daily cycle counts.
Ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and the ability to safely and efficiently operate powered industrial trucks. Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Attention to detail is necessary for order processing and inventory control.
