We are looking for a Screen Installer/Window Service Technician to help take us to the next level!
Summary/Objective
Inspect windows and repair any broken parts and install any missing parts. Install screens and lubricate windows. Take clear notes and record all findings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Reads service requests, pulls parts and screen orders from the warehouse and places orders on delivery truck.
- Travels to jobsites.
- Inspects all windows and doors and makes note of any missing or damaged parts.
- Replaces any missing or damaged parts.
- Lubricates all windows and doors with spray silicone.
- Installs window and door screens.
- Clearly documents all action taken and any needed parts for a return visit on service paperwork.
- Leaves a copy of the service paperwork with the customer.
- Conducts self as Customer Service professional at all times.
- Follows all company's safety policies, rules and regulations always, whether at Mueller's, in the truck, or at the jobsite.
- Respects customers’ property and leaves the jobsite as clean as it was upon arrival.
- Removes shoes before walking on carpeted surfaces.
- During down-time assists in the warehouse.
- Other tasks as needs arise.
Required Education and Training
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Current valid Medical card.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
