Description
POSITION OVERVIEW: Conduct all forecasting and demand planning related activities associated with customers and products. Create and maintain forecast models for customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources. Serve as an integration point into the sales and commercial organization. Lead the Step 2 Demand Planning meeting each month and collaborate with Sales to understand demand signals and adjust to customer needs.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
|
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or management, supply chain management or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the position functions of the job. |
|
Two or more years of logistics, supply chain management, inventory planning or other related experience. |
|
Demonstrated experience in key areas of supply planning, such as data modeling, production planning or materials planning. |
|
Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements. |

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; ability to stand or sit, bend or stoop, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read. The team member frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Position requires frequent typing. Position requires negligible business travel.
