Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at MUELLER SPORTS MEDICINE INC. As a key member of our operations organization, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop weekly and monthly production schedules for production facilities including sub-contracted production partners
- Provide training and troubleshooting to members of the planning and inventory control organization including vendors/subcontractors
- Optimize application of SAP material planning and inventory controlling functions
- Communicate Forecast/Demand concerns or exceptions to Sales Forecast Analysis and/or sales team
- Generate purchase requisitions or actual purchase orders to assure consistent and efficient supply of materials within the required lead time conditions
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the position functions of the job
- Five or more years of manufacturing experience including raw material purchasing, production and capacity planning, and inventory control or other related experience
- Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements
