Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Quality & Regulatory Intern. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for key quality assurance (QA)/regulatory affairs (RA) activities assigned by the department leadership. These may include nonconformance (NC) handling, training activities, process improvement activities, product validations, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) assessments.
Responsibilities
• Assist in overseeing all regulatory and compliance related efforts, including internal support to all departments in review and response to inquiries from government agencies, customers, or vendors.
• Participate in training activities and process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of our products and services.
• Collaborate with the department leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
Requirements
• Completed one year of post-high school education and enrolled for the fall semester at a technical college or four-year university.
• Pursuing a degree in a field of study related to the area of the internship (e.g., quality assurance, regulatory affairs, business administration).
• Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous work experience or internships in the field or a related field of the internship.
• Strong planning and project management skills, with ability to transition efficiently from working independently to working collaboratively.
