What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Hand/ General Warehouse Labor position at Mueller Water Conditioning, Inc?
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:00am-7:00pm
Water treatment company now hiring warehouse shop hand/general laborer to work in high purity water department. Duties include loading/unloading trucks, refilling tanks, general department maintenance, and minor equipment repairs. Must have some mechanical knowledge and ability. Must be reliable and work well under little supervision. Must have neat appearance, excellent customer relations, be available for immediate employment and good driving record. Must live in and be familiar with Houston and surrounding areas.
Physical, drug test and background check required.
Must have VALID Texas Drivers License and reliable transportation to and from work.
Tobacco free environment.
Starting at $25-$28/hr
Duties:
- Perform quality control checks on products to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of stock and materials.
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate machinery and equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
