Household Assistant / Housekeeper with cooking skills

Washington, DC | Full-Time, Live-Out

Work Days : Monday – Friday

Work Hour s : 10 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Start Date : March 1, 2025

Compensation : $60,000 to $100,000 per year

Main Work Duties & Responsibilities :

Cooking (Primary Focus)
Meal Preparation :
Prepare and deliver healthy, pre-made meals for the family daily.
Develop weekly menus that emphasize nutritional value and cater to any dietary restrictions.
Purchase and manage grocery supplies, ensuring ingredients are fresh and well-stocked.
Kitchen Maintenance :
Clean and sanitize the kitchen, utensils, and cooking equipment after meal preparation.
Ensure that all food preparation areas remain organized and hygienic throughout the day.
Delivery :
Drop off freshly prepared meals at designated times, ensuring they are served at the correct temperature.

Housekeeping :

Routine Cleaning :

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing common areas, bathrooms, and the kitchen.

Laundry Management :

Wash, iron, fold, and organize laundry for the household.

Maintain an orderly system for clothing and linens, ensuring items are stored properly.

Household Organization :

Keep the home tidy by managing clutter, organizing supplies, and maintaining an efficient inventory of cleaning products and other household items.

Special Projects :

Assist with minor household projects as needed (e.g., coordinating and overseeing the painting of a guest room).

Family Assistant

Errand Running :

Handle errands such as grocery shopping, picking up supplies, and managing deliveries.

Household Support :

Provide assistance with scheduling appointments, coordinating minor events, and organizing special projects.

Support the family with miscellaneous tasks to ensure the household runs smoothly /

Communication :

Serve as a reliable point of contact for family members regarding day-to-day household matters.

Butler Services

Guest Services :

Assist with hosting small gatherings and ensure the home is welcoming and presentable for visitors.

Personal Assistance :

Provide discrete, high-level support to family members as needed, handling personal requests with care.

General Support :

Combine aspects of traditional butler services with household management to enhance the overall living experience.

Required Qualities & Skills :

Punctual & Reliable : A true self-starter with a proven track record of timely performance.

Excellent Cooking Skills : Ability to prepare healthy, delicious meals five days a week.

Detail-Oriented : Exceptional attention to detail in cleaning, organization, and household maintenance.

Strong Communication : Clear, respectful, and professional interpersonal skills.

Organizational & Time Management : Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and household projects.

Customer Care : Friendly and discreet, with a calm and composed demeanor in a quiet, laid-back environment.

Additional Competencies :

A good driver (if applicable).

Ability to lift over 15 pounds when assisting with household tasks.
