Personal Household Assistant
New York, NY (with coordination of a second home)
Hours : Monday to Friday, 35-40 hours per week
Salary : $60 per hour based on experience

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Personal Household Assistant to support a busy attorney with both personal and household tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, strong technical proficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role requires discretion, flexibility, and the ability to manage diverse responsibilities with grace and precision. This position could be a mixture of remote and on-location.
Key Responsibilities :
Personal and Household Scheduling :
- Coordinate personal and professional appointments for the attorney.
- Manage household schedules, and travel plans.
- Ensure seamless coordination between the Manhattan property and a second home.
Event Planning and Coordination :
Plan and organize personal events, dinners, and gatherings.Handle logistics such as catering, guest lists, RSVPs, and decorations.Oversee event setup and execution to ensure smooth operations.Technology Assistance :
Set up and maintain personal computers, devices, and software.Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues.Utilize digital tools for scheduling, task management, and document organization.Administrative Support :
Organize and maintain personal and household files, both physical and digital.Draft and edit documents, correspondence, and presentations.Manage personal and household budgets, including expense tracking and bill payments.Travel Arrangements :
Plan personal and family travel, including booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.Create detailed itineraries and ensure all arrangements are confirmed.Assist with packing and other travel preparations.Errands and Household Tasks :
Run errands such as shopping, dry cleaning, and organizing household supplies.Research and purchase items for personal or household needs.Help maintain a well-organized and functional household.Vendor and Contractor Management :
Coordinate and supervise household maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services.Liaise with contractors, service providers, and household staff.Ensure tasks are completed to the highest standard and on schedule.Creative Support :
Assist with drafting and refining personal projects, presentations, or advertisements.Update personal or household materials, such as flyers, invitations, or ads.Discretion and Professionalism :
Maintain confidentiality regarding personal, professional, and family matters.Represent the attorney with a polished and professional demeanor.Flexibility and Adaptability :
Be available for ad hoc tasks and last-minute changes.Adapt to a dynamic schedule and shifting priorities.Qualifications :
