Intrepid is a specialty investment bank and provides M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory services to entrepreneurs, family-owned companies, private equity sponsors and major corporations, through dedicated banking teams with deep industry sector experience and over three decades of experience. The firm is based in Los Angeles, with additional offices in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Charlotte. Intrepid is the middle-market advisory arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (NYSE : MUFG), one of the largest financial groups in the world.

Position Overview
Intrepid Investment Bankers is seeking to hire a Buy-side Business Development Vice President / Senior Associate to augment its buy-side efforts and buy-side advisory practice.
Responsibilities :
- Sourcing and evaluating investment banking prospects through phone, email, and in-person efforts.
- Building and managing the investment banking prospect pipeline for select industries while working closely with senior investment bankers to execute various marketing initiatives, industry trade conferences and networking events.
- Building and maintaining relationships with leads and prospects.
- Managing and developing junior members (analysts and associates) on the buy-side team.
- Executing buy-side target searches for institutional private equity sponsors and strategic acquirers retaining the firm to help identify, contact, qualify and introduce them to qualified acquisition targets.

In addition to the base salary of $85K - $95K, depending on corporate title, role in the transaction, productivity, and type of incentive payout, participants can be eligible to receive up to 15% of transaction fees per transaction, subject to final approval by the CEO of Intrepid.
