Job Summary
Head of GIS Strategic Projects & Architecture responsible for project management of all global strategic initiatives for GIS to support GCIB across all regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC) including review of new expense or investment budget technology projects. The team will also be responsible for directing the strategic architecture as part of the next generation of GIS solutions. This function will report into the GIS Global Head and will work with Senior GCIB management and stakeholders to implement the consistent GCRM platform and manage GIS strategic initiatives. This function covers incumbents who are responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day program management and design a simplified architecture for on-going and future GIS initiatives such including GCRM platform and global rollout of PowerBI Dashboard. As a trusted advisor for GCIB this function will work very closely with GCIB senior management and business strategy groups globally. This role will have team of 5-7 direct reports to begin with in New York office and in MGS India office.
Major Responsibilities
Leadership / Strategic
- Senior MIS leader reporting to global head of GIS and member of GIS management team
- Help / manage GCIB to implement strategic initiatives, assisting as required the GCIB business heads
- Develop strong internal networks and build trusted relationships to enable change and influence behaviour across GCIB globally
- Provide governance framework to ensure appropriate communication and prioritization to business stakeholders
- Provide mentoring to GIS team members
Strategic Project Management
Lead the analysis and provide recommendations for single global CRM platform (Salesforce) including a streamlined target operating model, cost efficiency and global visibility model for Relationship Managers
Provide financial and management analytics, be-spoke reporting for senior management
Lead and coordinate in system architectural design and modernization for GIS including NextGen database design, AI, business intelligence, etc.
Qualifications
The typical base pay range for this role is between $192K - $235K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and / or incentive compensation.
