Overview of the Department

As a salesperson within the Derivative Solutions Group, you’ll focus on our North American Structured Finance clients, helping them to manage interest rate and currency risks associated with their debt financing using derivatives.

We work closely with our Project Finance and Aviation Finance colleagues to ensure our clients receive relevant risk solutions, experience seamless and transparent trade execution, competitive pricing, and benefit from our responsive post trade support. Our product offering includes interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, and interest rate options.

Main Purpose of the Role

Proactively engage with our internal partners and external clients to enhance our market leading derivatives franchise, helping the desk achieve its financial objectives through trade execution.

Key Responsibilities

Produce bespoke presentations and excel models to provide clients with ideas and education on interest rate risk management strategies, taking into consideration current macroeconomic data and market dynamics

Responsible for overseeing the full pre-trade workstreams for clients, including KYC, legal documentation, regulatory onboarding etc.

Work with trading desks on pricing requests and executions, accurately sharing all relevant information in order to successfully transact with our clients

Provide content for and participate in internal and external meetings

Work Experience

Experience in interest rate derivative products strongly preferred

At least 2 years of experience desired, level of experience will determine title eligibility

Skills

Bachelor’s degree required

Fluency in English required

Experience in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint highly preferred

Experience in Bloomberg beneficial

The typical base pay range for this role is between $150K - $247K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and / or incentive compensation.
