Job Summary:
The Business Data Strategy Senior Analyst will support the Data Platform Business Ownership team in management of the bank’s enterprise data platform. The team is tasked with modernizing the bank’s data and data capabilities. The senior analyst independently collaborates with senior stakeholders across the business units, IT, and external partners to define the data platform vision, roadmap, and priorities and to ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions that enable data-driven decision making and innovation.

Responsibilities
- Execute against the data platform vision and strategy, focused on sourcing additional superset data into the data platform
- Support the documentation and prioritization of business requirements and partner with technology teams to drive the technical implementation
- Enhance the data platforms by partnering with technology team on implementation of new tools and services that enhance the data capabilities of the platform
- Market data training and resources to increase data literacy across the organization
- Guide the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the data platform, including data ingestion, data processing, data storage, data modeling, data access, data visualization, and data services
- Ensure the data platform is scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective and meets the current and future data needs of the organization
- Drive the adoption and utilization of the data platform across the organization and foster a data-driven culture
- Monitor and measure the performance, availability, and usage of the data platform and provide regular reports and feedback to senior management and stakeholders
- Establish and maintain data platform standards, policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, privacy, and compliance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, data engineering, data science, or data analytics
- Experience supporting or using enterprise data lakes and enterprise data warehouses
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex data concepts and insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills and ability to manage multiple data projects simultaneously
- Experience in using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is helpful but not required
