Providing technical design, development, testing, and deployment for the Credit Risk Tech Portfolio applications. Performing requirements gathering and analysis, including breaking down deliverables into high level business requirements to assist development and testing; participating in the requirement review meetings, raising queries, seeking clarification on the Artifacts/Business requirement documents, and performing feasibility reviews on the technical solution; and performing statistical analysis based on the data to ensure optimum performance which leads to data modelling to create a meaningful relationship between the data and reduce the overhead on the application. Creating design and technical/project specifications documentation, including translating a business case into a detailed functional and technical design in the Functional Design Document (FDD) and Detailed Design Document (DDD) respectively; designing architecture of new and existing modules as per business requirements, which involves coordinating with various System Managers that are involved in the interfaces being developed. Performing feasibility study on the proof of concepts built for technical solutions to be developed to ensure best practices and standards are followed. Collaborating with all Agile Team Sprints in order to design, develop, and deliver to Epic/Story development to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) of the Credit Risk Tech Program. Collaborating with business analysts and business users to gather and analyze requirements for Credit Risk Management systems and translating requirements into deliverables. Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software by adhering to software development best practices and coding standards; and performing code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and maintainability. Staying current with new technologies and industry trends related to software development.
Qualifications – External
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).
Experience: 5 years of Object Oriented programming experience building web and desktop applications in C# using .Net, MVC and CORE Frameworks; developing REST API and Web Services for source and target feeds; performing data modeling using Erwin; performing data extraction and reporting transformed data to users using SSIS and SSRS; writing triggers, stored procedures and SQL Scripts; developing scalable applications using HTML5, Knockout, Angular JS, JavaScript, C#, jQuery, CSS & Design Patterns; and developing and managing applications on AWS cloud environment.
Alternate: In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) plus 3 years of Object Oriented programming experience building web and desktop applications in C# using .Net, MVC and CORE Frameworks; developing REST API and Web Services for source and target feeds; performing data modeling using Erwin; performing data extraction and reporting transformed data to users using SSIS and SSRS; writing triggers, stored procedures and SQL Scripts; developing scalable applications using HTML5, Knockout, Angular JS, JavaScript, C#, jQuery, CSS & Design Patterns; and developing and managing applications on AWS cloud environment.
Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.
Wage: $139,194 to $161,000 U.S. dollars per year
