What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director, College Partnerships position at Muhlenberg College?
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the Career Center's Director of Employer and Alumni Engagement to develop a comprehensive incentivized employer program to drive talent pipelines for students in conjunction with current and future corporate partnerships for enrollment.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by developing and strengthening relationships with potential and existing partners to support strategic GCE enrollment growth. Expand enrollment with existing partner accounts by maintaining a clear picture of reporting structures and influencers, building connections from C-suite to professional staff, creating multiple champion relationships, and developing account-specific plans with clear objectives, timelines, and metrics to track progress in expanding enrollment goals.
Develop and maintain a system of analyzing and reporting corporate outreach efforts, documenting activities, expenses, and key performance indicators, tracking opportunities, updating and maintaining CRM systems, and forecasting revenue.
Negotiate and structure agreements (memos of understanding), address questions, concerns, and changes, and finalize agreements.
Promote College programs and services and deliver compelling pitches at client locations.
Maintain deep knowledge of College programs and services and stay current with market trends.
Through corporate outreach activity, provide the VP / ED and GCE deans and the Executive Director of Career Services with market insights to develop academic programs for regional business, which may include certifications, undergraduate and graduate programs, and non-credit professional program opportunities.
Work closely with the Associate Director of GCE Admissions on lead status, customer needs, and account strategies to serve partners effectively.
Identify and work with professional organizations such as the Lehigh Valley (LV) Economic Development Corporation, LV Chamber of Commerce, Society for Human Resource Management, Association for Talent Development, Workforce Board of the Lehigh Valley, and others to evaluate current and future initiatives.
Actively seek opportunities and participate in events as an attendee and exhibitor to promote the Muhlenberg College Division of Graduate and Continuing Education, Career Services, Facility Rentals, Advancement, and the Provost Office.
Work with the Vice President and Executive Director, GCE Deans, Associate Dean, and Associate Director of Admissions to assist in the growth and development of the School and its programs to support our students.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required.
CRM, MS Office, and G-Suite proficiency required.
Career counseling, fundraising, business development, and / or B2B sales experience preferred.
Excellent communication and listening abilities, persuasion and negotiation skills, strong professional writing, public speaking, and public relations skills.
Ability to manage work independently while serving as a collaborative team member.
Appreciation or affinity for a small liberal arts college setting.
Successful completion of satisfactory background checks required.
