Current PA Teaching Certification in Pk-4 or Pk-6 required.
The teacher will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students in an elementary classroom, planning and delivering instruction across core subjects, assessing student progress, and promoting social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district standards.
- Teach core subjects - reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods, materials, and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Establish and enforce rules, expectations, and routines to foster respect and cooperation.
- Address disciplinary issues promptly and constructively.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress on a regular basis.
- Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare report cards and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
- Promote social skills, emotional well-being, and positive behavior.

Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in elementary education.
