Student Co-op - Continuous Improvement

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions: •Participate and foster involvement of all associates in quality improvements and problem solving efforts. •Data research and analysis with improvement plans. May include, but not limited to productivity, downtime, scrap and change over initiatives. •Support Quality initiatives through leading, training and engaging employees on various initiatives •Developing, planning, implementation of Quality tools, trainings and programs •performing Quality Audits using industry standard practices •Improve process capabilities and output •Identify and implement cost, scrap and waste reduction activities. •Recommend and implement improvement to the manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience: •Must be a currently enrolled, degree-seeking student of Business Administration or Engineering • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Strong problem solving mindset • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self-motivated, and able to work independently • Innovative, flexible, creative, analytical &; conceptual thinking, initiative taking, change driven. Preferred Education and Experience: • Experience in automotive manufacturing and /or engineering and sales driven business • Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization • Bilingual German/Spanish a plus The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
