The Therapist is responsible for providing residential addiction and mental health treatment as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team. The therapist fulfills direct service, including individual / family and group psychotherapy, consultations, and crisis intervention. The Therapist directly interfaces with residents and families. Facilitate individual and group therapy; coordinate 12-step programming, management of daily milieu, and providing leadership to support staff. Report directly to the Clinical Director as part of the clinical management team. Will hold a caseload minimum of 5 clients, running group therapy sessions, and participating in the weekly treatment team meetings.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments of clients at admission and re-assessments as required
- Conduct ACRQ at time of admission and at time of discharge
- Conduct twice weekly individual therapy sessions with assigned caseload
- Communicates with third-party insurance provider upon admission (or as necessary)
- Maintains comprehensive clinical documentation that meets or exceeds relevant legal, ethical, and accreditation standards
- Responsible for providing direct therapeutic services in the form of diagnostic assessments and treatment for all clients
- Provide weekly group therapy with residents as needed and directed by Clinical Director
- Facilitate Treatment Planning in the absence of the Clinical Director
- Working knowledge of KIPU electronic health records and CARF charting standards
- Responsible for parent / Referent communication and case management for client caseload (with client’s written consent)
- Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues
- Provide in-service training to staff and trainees on topics as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor, etc

75,000 - $85,000 (AMFT, ACSW or APCC)
90,000 - $125,000 (Licensed PhD, PsyD, LMFT or LCSW)
