This is an 8.0 hour per day, 180 day per year Office Assistant II position at Kamiak High School. Anticipated start date is as soon as possible.
Hours for this position will be 6 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 00 p.m.
The successful candidate will answer emails, phones, and respond to voicemails in a professional manner. Collect, process, and document attendance data. File truancy petitions (BECCA). Work with families, students, and staff to monitor student attendance rates.
Preferred Qualification : Bilingual.

JOB SUMMARY :
Perform a variety of clerical duties to assist students, staff, and parents and the general public.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Provide clerical support, answer phones; respond to inquiries from staff, parents, students and general public; direct inquiries to appropriate personnel; schedule appointments; and assist with other duties as directed for the purpose of providing quality customer service.
- Process various documents and perform functions such as process mail and respond to inquiries; prepare and mail correspondence; responsible for a variety of information record keeping i.e., fiscal and / or student records; document filing, tracking information, data entry, etc.
- May assist with student health needs.
- May serve as a designated first aid provider.
- May assist with supervision and monitoring of students.
- Word process, type, copy, collate, sort, file and distribute documents to support the efficient operation of school office services.
- Prioritize and organize tasks for the purpose of meeting deadlines, accessibility of information, and completing job duties in a timely manner.
- Comply with District Policies.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor(s) for the purpose of maintaining an organized and efficient environment.
