Child Engament Specialist / Play Coach

Mulberry Lane Play-Café is a space where families can enjoy a relaxing café experience while their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are engaged in safe, creative, and stimulating activities lead by our Child Engagement Specialists (Play-Coaches). The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who love working with children and are eager to be part of a team that creates a positive and engaging environment. While childcare experience is preferred, we value creativity, responsibility, and a positive attitude above all.

Responsibilities:

Engage with Children: Create a fun and safe environment where children can thrive by participating in activities that foster creativity, learning, and play.

Support the Lead: Work closely with the Lead Child Engagement Specialist in creating new activities for the children.

Maintain Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure that all materials and spaces are organized, clean, and safe for children to explore and learn.

Collaborate with Parents: With parents present on-site, you will maintain open communication and provide insights into their child’s progress and engagement.

Ensure Safety and Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, ensuring that all materials and spaces are conducive to learning and play.

Key Attributes:

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• Prior experience in childcare or customer facing roles is a plus.
• CPR certification is a plus.
• You bring a positive attitude and enjoy working with and inspiring young children.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
