Job Description:
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing the daily operations of the restaurant while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This is a full-time position with a set schedule. While benefits are not offered, we provide a competitive hourly wage and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and excellent guest experiences.
- Review sidework sheets for bussers and servers to ensure tasks are completed.
- Inspect the dining room, bar, and bathrooms to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Assign server sections and communicate effectively with staff.
- Greet and seat customers, answer phone inquiries, and handle reservations.
- Step in to fill service gaps as needed (bussing, serving, food running, bartending).
- Ensure staff compliance with breaks and other labor policies.
- Handle guest complaints, ensuring prompt resolution in line with company policies.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to staff on steps of service.
- Enforce company rules and policies, including cellphone and break policies.
- Manage cash handling, including reconciling server deposits, voids, and comps.
- Delegate cleaning, stocking, and organizing tasks to staff during downtime.
- Ensure all closing duties are completed, including locking doors and securing equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a full-service restaurant is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts professionally.
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
