Role Overview
We are seeking a Production Manager with a strong UI/UX design background to interact with our clients and lead our creative projects from concept to completion. This position will serve as the connective tissue between our clients, our internal design team, and our copywriting partners—ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Our primary focus is on website design, digital media design, and development but experience in print design is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management & Coordination
- Be the primary point of interaction for clients, clearly communicating project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with our design team, and copywriters, to ensure each project meets brand standards and client objectives.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Client Relations & Communication
- Act as the client guide through the creative process
- Facilitate regular check-ins and progress updates with clients, listening to client needs, gathering feedback, and making recommendations for improvements.
- Translate client needs into actionable design briefs and provide strategic input to help guide project direction.
Lead Website (UI/UX) Design
- Provide art direction and feedback to the design team, ensuring visual consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Lead internal design reviews and present creative concepts to both the team and clients.
- Conceptualize, design, and oversee the creation of user-friendly, visually appealing web interfaces.
- Use best practices in UI/UX to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless handoff and execution of the design.
- Oversee quality checks on all design assets before final delivery.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
- Proven experience in managing digital projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and client-facing roles.
Design & Technical Skills
- Expertise In Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Information Architecture, UX best practices, and responsive design
- Familiarity with front-end development processes (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with print design or pre-press setup is a plus
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication — comfortable presenting ideas to clients and internal teams.
- A keen eye for detail, typography, and color theory.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A problem-solving mindset, open to feedback, and able to adapt quickly.
