We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and passionate Interior Design Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer to collaborate with design leaders of the firm, gain design experience, and grow in a collaborative and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Applicant must have 2-4 years experience at an interior design firm as a design assistant or junior designer. Must have the ability to support the principal designer with multiple high-end residential projects from design concept through installation.
- Must be proficient in Sketchup, Keynote, AutoCAD, or other comparable software. Would prefer the applicant to be experienced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suites such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Able to communicate and collaborate with clients, vendors, general contractors, and sub-contractors throughout the project in a professional manner
- Knowledgable in space planning, developing design concepts, architectural elements, furniture, and fabric selection
- Sourcing for plumbing, finish lighting, appliance, hardware, and hard finishes
- Preparing client presentations such as mood boards, renders, and flat lays of materials and hard finishes for in-studio meetings
- Must be able to work efficiently and independently, as well as in team collaboration. Must be highly innovative, detail-oriented, and organized, and have excellent time management, problem-solving, and communications skills
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment on multiple projects
- Ability to read and understand floor plans, cabinet layouts, and elevations.
- Ability to prepare bid requests to various trades and vendors
- Prepare and order hardware layouts based on final cabinetry drawings
- Must have experience using Houzz Pro as a lead and project management solution to streamline interior design processes, create purchase orders, and processes invoices for projects
- Must have a degree from an accredited design program. We are only looking for candidates who have completed interior design programs and sustain the knowledge of interior design execution.

Pay: $65,240.00 - $75,170.00 per year
